3.3 Coque de Metalúrgico

Metallurgical coke is produced from bituminous coal in a coking furnace, where the coal is heated in an oxygen-free environment and volatile material is extracted.
The resulting is a hard and porous carbon very few volatiles. It is used in blast furnaces and cupola furnaces mainly.

Reducer in chemical processes
Coal to Furnace
Friction Materials
